While some of our neighbors are effectively homeless, some of us feel like we are sitting on our hands. Here are a few ways to donate to the cause:
North Texas Food Bank
The North Texas Food Bank is partnering with the Red Cross and Salvation Army to provide water and food to neighbors. Use this search tool to find a food pantry or other resources in the North Texas area.

Salvation Army
The Salvation Army of North Texas is currently accepting donations for those affected by natural disasters on its website.
The organization’s disaster trucks are roving the affected North Texas neighborhoods, serving meals and drinks. The three vehicles are roving the areas near Preston Road and Royal Lane and Walnut Hill Road and Marsh Lane, according to Dallas Morning News.
