It was the 1850s when Jefferson Peak brought his family from Kentucky and built Dallas County’s first brick home. He went on to develop much of the neighborhood, which he would name for his children: Junius, Worth, Victor, Carroll, Flora and Juliette Fowler. More on Peak can be found here.
