Bringing parents back together with their children. This is the goal of the local Child Protective Services this Tuesday at the Lakewood Library.
Through CPS’ Parents Empowering Parents group, parents will have a chance to learn how they can take the right steps if they are involved or have been involved with CPS. What makes this meeting special is all the parents leading the group have been successfully reunited with their children in the past .
It’s through these parents who have been in similar situations that families can learn learn tools to help them reconnect to their children and have a brighter future. The group will meet from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Lakewood Branch Library’s conference room.
