Construction on the $14 million science and performing arts addition at Woodrow Wilson High School officially kicks off at 10 a.m. Monday, May 23. The school is inviting students, parents, alumni and the community to a groundbreaking ceremony.

The 40,000-square-foot addition will look more modern than the original school, which was built in 1928 and is a Texas Historic Site.
