This cute little children’s boutique situated between Tom Thumb and Einstein Brothers Bagels at Mockingbird and Abrams fills a void in our neighborhood for a place to buy and sell used children’s apparel, toys, equipment and furniture. In this economy, it should do well, plus it’s the ultimate form of recycling.

M Streets resident Evan Underwood is the brains behind the new shop, which is resale only — no consignment. In other words, if you want to sell her something, she’ll pay you cash up front for items she thinks she can sell instead of taking an item, selling it, and later paying you a portion of the sale price. (If you opt for store credit instead of cash, you’ll receive 15 percent more on top of what she offers.)

The grand opening is tomorrow, March 3 at 10 a.m. Already the store is stocked with clothing, sizes newborn to 10, and shoes, up to size 13, as well as cribs, car seats, diaper genies, books, decor, strollers, and on and on. If you want to sell your stuff, Underwood is taking a look at pretty much anything kid-related, including apparel for all four seasons.
