Unleavened, Lakewood Shopping Center’s provider of fresh wraps and salads, is starting a new fundraising campaign beginning in June. When you order a meal off of the restaurant’s Kids Fit Menu, Unleavened will donate $1 to the PTA of  Stonewall Jackson Elementary, William Lipscomb Elementary or Lakewood Elementary schools.

The fundraiser will run for at least a couple months, and the school that raises the most money will earn an additional $500.

Two of the kids menu choices at Unleavened were created by culinary students at Wilmer Hutchins High School in Dallas.

The Kids Fit Menu was developed three years ago by the Medical City Children’s Hospital in an effort to help fight childhood obesity.
