Good Records of Lower Greenville is celebrating the sixth annual Record Store Day and its Lucky #13 Birthday Celebration this Saturday April 20.

Good Records was part of a coalition that originally formed the now internationally recognized Record Store Day. According to Chris Penn, co-owner of Good Records, the store added its birthday into the mix to attract more attention this year. From 11 a.m.-midnight, visitors can attend the jam-packed celebration for free.

The store will have 13 bands playing throughout the day. Shinyribs, The Relatives, Myopic, Bashe, Blackstone Rangers, Whiskey Folk Ramblers, Cutter, A.Dd+, Vulgar Fashion, War Party, Datahowler, Dark Rooms, and Unconscious Collective will all grace the indoor stage. The music is not just confined to inside Good Records, however. Look out for DJ Track Meet providing the soundtrack for the number of attractions outside the store.

If you get hungry, hit up the food trucks in the Good Records parking lot. You can also get your shopping fix in with the vintage clothing sale that will be occurring. If you simply want to add to your vinyl collection, you can do that too.
