Starting tomorrow, every Friday until August 30 The Cake Ball Company off of Northwest Highway and Easton will be selling their spherical balls of squishy cake goodness between 3:00 and 5:30 p.m. for a mere $1. Call it a cake ball happy hour, if you will.
Hypnotic Donuts, known for their outside-of-the-box doughnut combinations and savory chicken biscuits are using their creativity for a cause. Now through the end of the month, purchase a Cafe Momentum red-eye biscuit for $8 and $1 from the purchase will go back to Cafe Momentum. The red-eye biscuit is topped with fried quail, pickled green tomatoes and “red-eye gravy” – a gravy with a base of locally roasted Noble Coyote Cafe Momentum blend.
Plans for the new food truck park at the corner of Greenville and Sears, The Truck Yard, by Twisted Root owner Jason Boso, include a cheesesteak restaurant and a 14-seat treehouse bar, D Magazine reports.
