The nonprofit runs two markets in East Dallas: White Rock Farmers Market and Lakewood Village Farmers Market.

Anyone who uses SNAP or P-EBT can earn up to $20 in free additional dollars to spend on local produce at the markets.

National Farmers Market Week started Sunday. All of the vendors at the two markets are vetted to ensure they’re businesses located within a 150-mile radius of Dallas.

White Rock Farmers Market is located at 9150 Garland Road. It’s open Saturdays through Dec. 18 from 8 a.m. until noon.

Lakewood Village Farmers Market, which began in 2019, is located at 6434 E. Mockingbird Lane. It’s open 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Sundays through Aug. 15. After that, it will resume business in February.
