Dallas boutique Roam Fine Goods is expanding to Lakewood.
The store, which has a location at Preston-Royal, is expecting to open in the old Curiosities space on Abrams Parkway around October or November, founder Carley Seale said.
Seale is also behind North Henderson Avenue’s Favor the Kind, which began as The Gypsy Wagon. The Preston Royal store opened in 2017. The Advocate profiled Seale, who attended the University of Oklahoma, in 2020.
At Roam, customers can find women’s apparel, jewelry and home goods.
Curiosities had been open for 15 years at 2025 Abrams Parkway before it announced in 2022 it would move its inventory to the existing Curious Garden store on Garland Road.
