As a continuation of the White Rock Lake Trail improvements, the Park and Recreation Department has installed water-filled traffic barricades on Tuesday, Feb. 20, along Garland Road between E. Lawther and the Spillway.
The road barrier installation aims to assist with vehicular traffic separation on Garland Road.
It is anticipated the installation will take two to three weeks to complete, according to a memorandum sent on Feb. 16 to council member Paula Blackmon.
Concrete barrier walls will be installed by TxDOT at an undisclosed future date.
