A man died crossing Garland Road Tuesday, Oct. 2, after running in front of a Corvette.
The Dallas Police Department has not released his name, but said he was a 44-year-old Latin man.
The man was crossing the 11400 block of Garland Road at about 8:40 p.m. when he ran in front of a Chevy Corvette traveling southbound in the middle lane. The man hit the center of the vehicle, was thrown onto the windshield and flew over the top of the car.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police. No other injuries were reported.
