Take a peek inside one of the most gorgeous works of architecture in Lakewood. The Aldredge House in the Swiss Avenue Historic District opens its doors for free tours the first Saturday of the month. Future brides and grooms can scout the area as a potential wedding venue.Â

Time is running out to check out the Cool Thursdays Concert Series at the arboretum. This week is the second-to-last show and features Dallas’ favorite party band, Emerald City. This cover band plays everything from Frank Sinatra to George Strait to Katy Perry.

It’s opening night! Explore space, time, feminism and fashion in “On The Verge or The Geography of Yearning” by Eric Overmeyer. Three Victorian ladies go on an adventure and stumble upon the future. Check out the mishaps and mayhem at the Bath House Cultural Center.
