The original location remains, while a second Dallas store opened five years ago, and one in Richardson opened last year.

“When we opened 15 years ago, we had no idea what was ahead of us, but we believed in our little pizza shop, and have been continually thrilled at how the community has embraced us,” owner Sammy Mandell says. “Now with three locations spread across town, we couldn’t be happier about where GAPCo stands and where it’s heading.”

Mandell, a graduate of Bryan Adams High School, saw opportunity in Lowest Greenville for a pizza-by-the-slice place. It was tough at first, but Mandell didn’t let the financial hardships make him quit.

GAPCo is active in the community and often holds fundraisers and drives to support local Dallas ISD schools.

To celebrate the anniversary, GAPCo is holding a party at its Richardson store.

All three locations will be commemorated through specials. Large cheese pizzas will be on sale for $15, colossal cookies will be sold for $5, and beers will cost $1.

Plus, there will be live music, a pizza-eating contest and activities for kids.

The event will be 3-7 p.m. Nov. 12 at 520 Lockwood Drive.
