The East Dallas-based nonprofit Born Strong Foundation Inc. has partnered with Dallas Parks & Recreation to launch its inaugural Born Strong Martial Arts (BSMA) program.

The program, meant to make high-quality martial arts training accessible, will be available to children, teens and adults — focusing on low-income families in our neighborhood.

BMSA invites the community to attend free open house events at the Samuell Grand Recreation Center to celebrate the partnership.

Each open house will feature free martial arts lessons and opportunities to meet the BMSA team members while learning about the program, financial assistance options and more.

Martial arts classes for students age 4 and up will officially begin on Feb. 4 at Samuell Grand Recreation Center.
