A memorial service was held this past Saturday at Winfrey Point for veterinarian Robert Weinberger who in 1948 founded the Casa Linda Animal Clinic , which was one of the first animal clinics in Dallas, according to his obituary. After selling his interest in the Casa Linda Clinic, the well-known vet continued to work with pet patients at the Forest Lane Animal Clinic for the next 20 years. At age 87, Dr. Weinberger died at Walnut Place senior housing December 28.
