Police say Izaguirre and the other teens broke into the school, grabbed the laptops and tried to escape through a window with the laptops in backpacks. The teens didn’t realize they had tripped a silent alarm in the school, though, and police arrived before they could get out of the building. While police were searching for the cause of the alarm, the teens attempted to escape and were caught running toward portables near Woodrow Wilson High School. The laptops were recovered, along with a crowbar, wrench and screwdriver.

Izaguirre was charged with burglary of a building, which is a state jail felony, the DMN reports. No word on what is happening with the other three teens.
