Every day the staff makes two fresh soups from scratch, Dahlander told me. There’s a culinary manager at each store, who determines which soups to make each day.

If you want to know which ones they’ve chosen before you drop by the Greenville location, you can find the soup-of-the-day on the website. During the winter months, they always have a baked potato soup, he says.

If Urbanspoon is correct, there are only a few places in East Dallas that serve soup (they list Subway, Sheridan Charters, Birrieria Aguinaga, RT’s Sandwich Shop and Degolyer Garden Cafe at the Dallas Arboretum), so it’s good to know there’s another place to fill ourselves with something warm on the cold days.
