dreadhead_logoEast Dallas’ own Michael Weinstein, better known as the “Dread Head Chef,” plans to begin a catering service for small to medium sized dinner parties.

Weinstein is known for his sweet dessert salsa and chips, which he told us in 2009 he discovered by accident.

For the catering service, Weinstein says it can be done two ways: a plated, seated dinner for up to 12 people, or a buffet for a party of 40. Either way, he’ll work with the host or hostess to develop the menu.

“I enjoy creating menus using seasonal products that are available in the area as well as making menus that will go with your party theme,” he says. “Just think you will have your own private chef for an evening.”
