This Thursday, Jan. 23, Abacus (right across Central at 4511 McKinney Ave.) is welcoming Red Mare Wines to Dallas for a collaborative dinner. Chef Kent Rathbun and his team will prepare a four-course menu to be paired with Red Mare’s California wines, including the just-released 2012 Chardonnay. As diners enjoy this decadent feast, winery proprietor Jim Striegel will be on hand to discuss the finer points of that Chardonnay as well as each wine being served. The dinner starts at 6:30 p.m.
