The first stop in better well-being might be the Community Health Check, a health fair hosted March 1 by

Entry into the event is free and includes no-cost screenings of blood pressure, anemia, cholesterol, asthma, blood sugar, vision, hearing and dental. Visitors can also receive free breast exams, glaucoma tests, depression and anxiety screenings, EKGs, cardiovascular risk assessments and more.
An area for children will include Identi-Child, a kid-safety program that fingerprints and photographs kids, and free immunizations also will be available to those who bring shot records.

“People can bring all their medications, and a pharmacist will review them, consult with them and give them questions to ask their doctor if they’re not sure about what they’re taking,” Ozanne says.
Dallas Volunteer Attorneys will also be available to dole out free legal advice.
Spanish translators will be on hand, and a Girl Scout troop will donate free child care. And, lest you think this event is all seriousness, entertainment, food and opportunities for fun also will available.
