Tide Services is celebrating the grand opening of its first Tide Laundromat Dallas location, in Whiterock Marketplace, with a Free Wash and Giveaway weekend Aug. 10 through 11.
The facility is locally owned and operated by Dallas resident Patrick Elverum and will be having a ribbon-cutting ceremony Aug. 8 with the East Dallas Chamber of Commerce and Tide Services CEO Andrew Gibson from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.
The Free Wash and Giveaway will follow the ceremony with patrons getting a free wash through the Tide Laundromat app, giveaways, prizes and entertainment provided by Zona MX 99.1 FM. Prizes include Texas Rangers tickets and discounts and promotions for future visits.

The facility is geared toward the White Rock and Casa Linda Communities and will operate from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily (last wash at 9 p.m.).
Customers can drop off laundry for wash and fold services ($1.49/lb for next-day service or $1.99/lb for same-day service) or operate the machines themselves.
