Mr. Ferris is a stinkin’ cute 8-week-old Weimaraner mix. He was found as a 5-week-old puppy walking down the access road of Interstate 30 and now available for adoption.

He has beautiful green eyes and a chocolate-colored coat. Ferris will be a 50-60-pound dog. He is gentle, well tempered, sweet and playful. He is very eager to please and will be easy to train. He progressing nicely with the potty training and is showing how smart he is.

Weimaraners were originally bred to be hunting dogs. They are elegant, aristocratic and are loving and devoted to their owners. A Weimaraner’s first desire is to be with his people. These dogs have a good amount of energy and stamina and will need to be exercised and mentally stimulated. They will need to be socialized well as young puppies.

If you are interested in meeting Mr. Ferris, please call 214.507.4016 or email adoptions@whiterockdog.org. He will be at all the off-site adoption events and a private meet and greet can be arranged.
