A 16-year-old boy died on Sunday after being shot inside a home in Old East Dallas, Dallas Police said.
At about 3:25 p.m., officers responded to a shooting call in the 4800 block of Lindsley Avenue. Upon arrival, they found the teenager shot at the location.
The teen was taken to a local hospital, where he died from his injury, police said. His death is currently being investigated as an “accidental death,” with no further updates provided.
Police did not disclose whether the family of the boy was home or who reported the incident to 911.
