  • Open Classical 2013, which involves classical instrumental and opera performances, will be at the Wine Therapist this year from 8 p.m. to midnight on Friday, Dec. 27. Go to the Facebook page for more information.
  • Starting Friday, Dec. 27 until Jan. 5, Children’s circus Dallas Children’s Theater, in conjunction with Lone Star Circus, for the first time ever presents a Season Special circus extravaganza. An international galaxy of acrobats, aerialists, hand balancers, jugglers, clowns and dogs performs together to create a sensational and joyous circus spectacular.   • This weekend only on Friday, Dec. 27, and Saturday, Dec. 28, the Bath House Cultural Center will feature Hedwig and The Angry Inch?, a punk rock musical that deals with the themes of finding love and accepting oneself. The performance follows Hedwig as she tells her story of her escape from Communist East Berlin and relationships she develops in the United States. The event is at the Bath House.   • This Sunday, Dec. 29, Pegasus Theatre kicks off its 29th season with a production of Rehearsal for Murder, by Kurt Kleinmann, with a sneak preview at 8 p.m. The performance, which will continue through Jan. 26, is another entry in the popular Living Black & White™ series of plays that chronicle the adventures of Harry Hunsacker, would-be actor turned would-be detective, Nigel Grouse, Harry’s paid-by-the-hour assistant and friend, and Lt.   • DALLAS CITYSCAPE is back at the Galleria Dallas from Dec. 14. To Jan. 5. Cityscape, an engaging and educational exhibit featuring several Dallas landmarks comprised of more than 2.5 million blocks and other toy-building supplies. Families can stroll through the amazing exhibit, enjoy: interactive play at special building stations and even put personal creations on display. DALLAS CITYSCAPE benefits East Dallas Community Schools, a non-profit organization that operates early childhood learning centers with programs to meet the needs of children from birth to age nine. $5 for adults and children ages 2 and up; Children’s ticket includes a special prize.
