Celebrate the Hare Krishna’s festival of Gaura Purina, The Golden Moon Festival, at Kalachandji’s Temple Thursday, 6-9 p.m. There will be music, prayer, an educational class and a play. The festival will finish with a parade through the neighborhood featuring dancing, musical instruments and a multi-course vegetarian feast.

Pedigo’s Magic Pilsner, a band starring Woodrow graduate John Pedigo, will perform at Club Dada Friday night. Pedigo, who made up half of The O’s, is releasing the band’s self-titled album at the show. The band is named for Pedigo’s father’s home brew and honors his father, who was diagnosed with terminal cancer in 2016. Tickets are $10.

Lakehill Preparatory’s middle school production of “Annie Jr.” will be Friday at 7 p.m. General admission is free and reserved seats are $5.

The Orpheus Chamber Singers perform at St. Thomas Aquinas on Saturday. The concert is at 7:30 p.m., and tickets range from $5-$40.

The Dallas Arboretum hosts an International Market Friday 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Enjoy a French market with pastries, baking mixes, homemade chocolate, bags, candles, soaps and home decor. In addition, the Texas Daffodil Society’s annual flower show can be viewed from 1-5 p.m. on March 2 and 9 a.m.-5 p.m. on March 3. Arboretum admission for adult non-members is $15.

Join East Dallas neighbors at Operation Beautification Saturday from 9 a.m.- noon on behalf of the Ferguson Road Initiative. Meet at  the Walgreens at Lakeland and Ferguson for breakfast and coffee, and then head to your assigned area to pick up trash.

Head to St.Matthew’s Cathedral on Sunday at 4 p.m. for a recital from Eldred Marshall, who will play selections from Bach. The concert is free.

Visit the Aldredge House for an afternoon tea for mothers and daughters (and all others) Sunday from 2-4 p.m. This event, which is sponsored by the Friends of the Aldredge House and Dallas Heritage Village, will teach guests about the classical tradition of afternoon tea. Tickets are $40 for non-members and $35 for members. Tickets can be purchased here.
