Wrapping up a few things before the 10 percent of us who didn’t vote early go to the polls:
• We’ll have updates throughout the day, and you are more than welcome to post your impressions.
• A commenter asked yesterday what happens to the park if the toll road is defeated. Dave "I’ll be looking for another job soon" Levinthal reports in Dallas’ Only Daily Newspaper today that "many elements" of the park have already been paid for and will be built.
• Mayor Park Cities has a 10 a.m. news conference scheduled tomorrow. As I have noted, if the toll road loses, the people downtown will somehow find a way to build it elsewhere, regardless of their moaning and wailing. I have no doubt the mayor will say just that on Wednesday.
• And yes, that was the Jim Schutze making a comment on the blog yesterday.
