  • In early November, The Wine Therapist moved from its location at Skillman and Live Oak next to the Mecca across the street into the the space previously occupied by Lakewood Consignment. Yesterday, Culture Map reported that owner Phillip Nikpour is teaming up with with Amier Taherzadeh of the former Bodega Bar for the new space. So that should make an interesting duo.
  • Blockbuster is closing today. All of them. Forever. We posted a short write-up yesterday about the location at Greenville and Lovers closing, and the Dallas Morning News gave a lengthy, comprehensive report as well.
  • Kip’s Big Boy is back on Abrams, and this time he’s ready for the holidays, adorning a Santa hat and beard, the Dallas Observer reports. Beside him, the abominable snowman is also making a holiday appearance.
