  • Have you seen the new apartments called the Greenhouse at Gaston and Munger? They’re hard to miss with the faux topiary and giant silver sculpture. The Dallas Morning News did a write-up about the renovation brought to us by Power Properties. Also, there are more pictures available on the Power Properties Facebook page.
  • Woodrow Wilson High School was mentioned (at least) twice in relation to JFK news this week. In the Tennessean, Bill R. Phillips, a Woodrow Wilson grad, retells his personal account of the Kennedy assassination.
  • Also, Karen Slater, who was a junior at Woodrow Wilson High School at the time of the JFK assassination, told her story to a group of students from Cache Middle School, according to The Lawton Constitution in Southwest Oklahoma.
  • If you have a second, neighbors have found several stray pups running around the hood. They’ve posted about them on the Lakewood, Dallas Facebook page.
