Also, two men were robbed at gunpoint last Thursday in the 5800 block of Richmond. Reportedly: the vivtim and a friend were walking home from Greenville at about 1:30 a.m. when they were approached by two black males both carrying guns. Both men were robbed. And from a report last week: Friday May 21, a woman was robbed outside Wild Birds Unlimited on Mockingbird. Sergeant Keitric Jones of the Dallas Police Central Division notified neighbors later that night that the two white male suspects had been arrested.

“Robberies are not all that unusual and this does not represent a trend so far. But since we had good suspect descriptions, I wanted to pass this along,” says Lakewood Crime Watch chair Nancy Wilson via an e-mail. “As always, be aware of your surroundings and please call 911 right away if you see someone matching any of these descriptions.”

She adds, “just three weeks ago, one of our neighbors called in a suspicious person to 911. Our ENP officer responded and was able to arrest the guy based on outstanding warrants. Keeping your eyes out for these guys is always helpful.”
