Dallas as whole is growing and that growth is extending to the amount of people needing additional care later in life.

Proving that point was the completion of Simpson Place, a $15 million assisted living facility, which has 150 units within 95,000 square feet. A ribbon cutting was held on Tuesday at the center’s Simpson Street and North Hill Avenue location.

“There is a significant need for these types of facilities,” says John Paul Taylor, StoneGate Senior Living chief operations officer in a press release. “The Simpson Place team has worked diligently to bring awareness to the surrounding neighborhood and is ready to accept residents to this beautiful community.”

The new development, geared toward low-income residents, comes right on the heels of senior living community C. C. Young’s newest venture: The Vista. A groundbreaking ceremony was held at the end of October and, from the renderings, will look more like high-end luxury condos than a retirement home.
