Another popular nationwide chain has opened in our neighborhood, and it’s one that may delight doughnut and coffee connoisseurs.

The Massachusetts-based chain Dunkin’ has arrived at 6401 E. Northwest Highway, according to CultureMap. It’s one of three new locations in the DFW area.

To celebrate its growth, all Dunkin’ restaurants in Dallas will offer guests a free medium hot or iced coffee throughout the day Tuesday, according to a news release. No purchase is necessary.

Formerly Dunkin’ Donuts, the chain rebranded itself to attract “new audiences as being not just a doughnut shop,” Dunkin’s field marketing manager Nathan Pressler told CultureMap.

“It’s also about the coffee and the beverage variety,” he said. “We revamped our espresso platform with new equipment and a much higher quality product to become more competitive with coffee places. Dunkin’ is about coffee and beverages. You can get a great quality coffee beverage and spend less money and still have a great experience.”
