Celebrate Valentine’s Day, Black History Month and John Hughes’ birthday this February at East Dallas’ drive-in.
Grab the gals Feb. 13 for Galentine’s Day at The Drive-In at The Central. The venue at 2999 N. Carroll Ave. will feature films of friendship, such as “Pitch Perfect” and “Bridesmaids.” The next day, it will show tales of romance like “The Notebook” and “Crazy Rich Asians.”
Throughout February, the drive-in will celebrate films led by Black actors and filmmakers. Watch recent blockbuster “Queen & Slim” or the classic “Love & Basketball.”
Tickets range from $22–36 per vehicle, depending on vehicle occupancy and screening day. Guests can continue supporting the venue’s efforts to raise money for the North Texas Food Bank by attending a community screening. The second film on select Sunday nights is $5, and all proceeds are donated to the food bank.
