On Thursday, Aug. 17, Greenville Avenue Pizza Company (GAPCo) will host its fifth annual “Slices for Supplies” event benefitting Zaragoza Elementary School in Old East Dallas, where 96 percent of its 400 students are considered low-socio-economic status, according to Dallas ISD.

Between 5 and 8 p.m., guests who bring school supplies GAPCo will receive a free slice of cheese pizza with one topping of their choice. GAPCo has pledged to match monetary donations on that day.

Slater’s 50/50, the new burger spot on Lower Greenville, will be giving a portion of its proceeds from its slider pops and bacon brownies to the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Dallas this month.
