Districts 2 and 9 are hosting a senior conversation at the Harry Stone Recreation Center, at 9:00 a.m. on Oct. 12.
The discussion will be led by Councilmembers Jesse Moreno (District 2), Paula Blackmon (District 9) and the Senior Affairs Commissioners from Districts 2, 9 and 15 — Portia Cantrell, Lisa Kelly and Mike Nurre.
The group will discuss the needs of older adults within the community. Attendees are encouraged to share thoughts while learning more about the services provided to senior residents by the Office of Community Care Senior Services Program.
