The Garland Road/St. Francis Avenue/San Fernando Way/San Rafael Drive Dallas Water Utilities Project will be starting Feb. 17 in District 9.

The project, initially part of a separate construction contract to install a wastewater main along Garland Road, is now being awarded to Muniz Construction, Inc. to construct approximately 1,700 feet of 30-inch diameter wastewater main in the area.

The contractor is slated to complete the project by summer 2025. The construction schedule is subject to change due to adverse weather conditions. During construction, portions of the street will be closed for a short period of time in order to install a new wastewater main.

Project notification letters will be hand-delivered to the relevant residences in the coming week. 

Once construction has been completed, residents are invited to submit feedback via survey.
