DISD schools are using different calendar options, and the meals will be available at the start of each calendar.

Campuses using the school-day redesign calendar start Aug. 2. Campuses that adopted the intersession calendar, like W. H. Gaston Middle School, will begin Aug. 9. And those with the base calendar start Aug. 16.

Families who need help between July 21 and the start of classes should call 211 or text FOODTX to 877-877 to find an organization offering food to the community.
