Local students and school staff are getting a couple snow days this week.
Dallas ISD announced that all campuses and offices are closed Thursday and Friday because of the anticipated winter weather.
Schools will not be expected to make up those days, the district wrote on its website.
Though meteorologists are telling us to prepare for the subfreezing temperatures, freezing rain, ice and even snow, they’re stressing one thing: The forecast is not going to be the same as the snow storm from around this same time last year.
