The Latino Culture Center will be hosting their 21st annual Día de los Muertos Festival on Saturday, Nov. 2 from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The celebration will feature craft workshops created in partnership with the Semillitas Book Club and presentations by Alegre Ballet Folklorico and Mitotiliztli Yaoyollohtli (Aztec dancers). There will also be live music from Mariachi Estampas de Mexico in the plaza.
Local artists and community members have created altares in the Center’s galleries to honor loved ones who have passed away. The exhibition of their altares will be on display starting tomorrow, Oct. 25 until Nov. 8.
