Dan D. Rogers Elementary is requesting an amendment to its planned development district so it may construct two additions to the building, according to a zoning change application filed in late June with the City of Dallas.
The additions will consist of administration offices and a new kitchen. They will add 7,000 square feet and be located along Abrams Road, according to the application.
No new classrooms are associated with the project.
The school at 5314 Abrams Road is zoned for public school use. The amendment would provide for a new development plan that would allow for building additions, as well as a traffic management plan.
