It may seem a little cold to think about swimming, but the City of Dallas says it’s time to purchase your Dallas Aquatics season pass.

Passes went on sale March 1. If you purchase before April 15, you’ll receive 40 percent off.

The regular price is $70, but you’ll pay $42 to swim all season long. That’s the equivalent of seven daily entries. The best part, of course, will be breezing past the line as you whip out your pass.

The pass provides access to all The Cove locations, all aquatic centers and 11 community pools.

Folks who don’t purchase a season pass will pay a daily admission fee of $4 for children 11 and under and $6 for people 12 and older.

Community and neighborhood passes, which restrict access to The Cove and some aquatic centers, are also on sale for $30 and $18, respectively.

Pools in our neighborhood include The Cove at Samuell Grand and the Tietze and Harry Stone community pools. They will open June 1.
