About 12 people worked together to lift an overturned van and free a man trapped beneath it last week.
The crash happened at the intersection of Peavy and Garland roads around 8 p.m. Oct. 5.
A man was screaming for help, and neighbors came out of their houses to assist him.
“We were actually able to all grab it by the ladder racks and lift it up enough that he kind of squirmed out, and then he said something about his kids being inside,” neighbor Rob Murta told KXAS.
The group managed to flip the vehicle up so that it landed on all four tires, and everyone was retrieved from the van.
