Dallas police say Abigail Rodriguez, who was declared a “critical missing person” after she disappeared Feb. 18, is now considered a runaway.
“Abigail A.K.A. ‘Abby’ Leann Rodriguez contacted her family letting them know she was OK,” said officer Demarquis Black, spokesman for the Dallas police, adding that she has not yet returned home.
When the 16-year-old Far East Dallas resident was first reported missing by her family, police declared her a potential “danger to herself or others,” but declined to elaborate on why.
