A minor tells parents and police that a man stole his phone and ipod as he walked along Northcliff in East Dallas. Click image to enlarge.
On Tuesday afternoon, a minor reported being robbed as he walked along Northcliff Dr. toward Easton Rd. The victim stated that a black male with facial hair and jagged teeth came from the alley off Northcliff, walked toward the victim and said, “Give me your glasses and give me all you have.” The victim reportedly surrendered an iPod and a Samsung phone along with his glasses, which the robber threw on the ground before running across the street and jumping into the passenger side of a white pickup truck.
Also in crime reports, several car break-ins have occurred near White Rock Lake, including incidents at Mockingbird dog park, a couple at Boy Scout Hill parking lots and near Doctors Hospital, to name a few. Break-ins at White Rock are nothing new. Happened to me at the boathouse a couple years back. But it’s good to be reminded to leave the laptop and valuables at home when you plan to park at White Rock.
