Chuck Cole, owner of Corner Market on McCommas and Greenville, recently received a visit from Mike Rowe of The Discovery Channel’s "Dirty Jobs" as part of Ford’s "Swap Your Ride" campaign. For a week, Cole traded his 4Runner for a Transit Connect — Ford even decorated it with the restaurant and flower shop’s logos.
Cole liked his Transit Connect so much that he bought it. He was the first Swap Your Ride participant in the country to do so, says Ford spokeswoman Liz Bradford. You might have seen Cole driving around our neighborhood in his new black delivery truck with neon decals.
