The Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden’s Cool Thursdays concert series returns next month for the fall season.
Starting Sept. 4, the Arboretum will host weekly concerts on the Martin Rutchik Concert Stage and Lawn. Composed of ten separate performances, the series will run through early November, when a customary Emerald City Band show will bring the fall season to a close.
Nine of the concerts feature tribute acts paying homage to everything from the Backstreet Boys to ABBA. A performance by The Formation Beyonce Experience — perhaps playing on the popularity of Beyonce’s 2024 album, Cowboy Carter — will kick off the season at 7 p.m. on September 4. Individual performance pricing varies, with the cost of premium show tickets (Dancing Dream ABBA, Greggie and the Jets, ECB and RED- A Taylor Swift Tribute) raised by $5.
Attendees can bring food and drink from home in their own cooler, although those bringing in alcoholic beverages will be charged a $5 corkage fee per party. There will also be food available for pre-order and drink stands set up around the venue.
The fall concert lineup is as follows:
- The Formation Beyonce Experience Sept. 4th
- Garth LIVE!- Tribute to Garth Brooks Sept. 11th
- Absolute Queen Sept. 18th
- Homegrown: The Zac Brown Band Tribute Experience Sept. 25th
