The Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Museum is continuing its spring Cool Thursdays concert series tonight with a performance by Hotter Than July Tribute to Stevie Wonder.
Running through June 26, the series will bring musical acts to the shores of White Rock Lake for open-to-the-public concerts on the Martin Rutchik Concert Stage & Lawn. The lineup, which features tribute acts for everything from Fleetwood Mac to Pitbull, features twelve artists.
Gates will open at 6 p.m, with the concert slated for 7:30-9:30 p.m. While food trucks have been a fixture in the past, food options for the series going forward will be limited to preorders.
Attendees may bring their own chairs, blankets and coolers filled with beverages. A $5 cork fee will be charged per reservation for alcoholic beverages brought from home.
Tickets can be purchased on the Arboretum’s website. Since the performance is a premium show, tickets have been raised by $5, bringing the member price to $45 and $50 for nonmembers. Season passes are also available for purchase.
