Last week we received a notice about an item that would be on the agenda during the City Plan Commission meeting last Thursday.
The Lakewood Country Club was requesting a minor amendment to its plans for construction at the club. According to the notice, the Lakewood Country Club plans to build underground parking and reconfigure its tennis court area. It also plans to expand the pool area and revise the parking area near the tennis courts. It does not need to change zoning in anyway.
Other than the items mentioned in the notice, we don’t know what other construction the country club has planned. Earlier this week, Raymond DeTullia, the general manager of the club, declined to comment on the construction, since it will be contained within the club.
The proposed items were approved during the City Plan Commission meeting on Thursday, July 10.
