A nail spa in Lakewood Village is taking a new name and moving to a different suite in the same shopping center.
Nail Expertise, currently located at 4121 Abrams Road next to Total Hearing Care and Stafford Cleaners, will become Cloud 9 Nail Spa. It’s moving to a suite facing Mockingbird Lane, between Merle Norman and Jackson Hewitt. The space formerly housed Dirty Dawgz, a self-serve dog wash and grooming spa, which closed in 2021 after 17 years in business.
Nail Expertise wanted a place with a lower rent, and the new location, which is smaller, satisfies that.
No date has been set for the Cloud 9 opening, as the business is waiting for inspections to be completed. It will be located at 6454 E. Mockingbird Lane.
Lakewood Village shopping center is located at the southeast corner of East Mockingbird Lane and Abrams Road. It’s home to tenants such as TCBY, Lakewood Growler and Texas Family Fitness, along with the Sunday farmers market hosted by Good Local Markets.
Fossil Creek Liquor and Knit Dallas are a couple of the newest retailers at the shopping center.
