The residence at 2636 Materhorn Drive in the Casa View area is listed at $365,000. The three-bedroom, two-bath home sports several original features, including original windows, wood floors, bathrooms and kitchen.
There is a courtyard and several floor-to-ceiling windows, which are typical of May’s work. The architect is best known for creating the California Ranch house, built to erase the line between indoors and outdoors.
The mid-century modern home also comes with an 8-foot privacy fence, two storage units and a garage workshop.
The owner is Martin Craft, whose parents bought the house in 1967.
“His dad [searched] through bulk trash, scavenging for door handles that he heard other Cliff May owners had tossed out,” Haus + Co Realtor Mindy Niehaus told CultureMap. “The home is truly a time capsule as it has been filled with iconic mid-century furniture.”
